Hi! My name’s Phil Dokmanovic and I am married to Greer, with a daughter Ruby and a new baby boy Timothy, born in December 08. I currently teach music at a Christian School in Sydney, Australia. One role I have really enjoyed pursuing in 2008 has been worship leading, which I have been doing at my church, Northside Community Church (see the link on my blogroll). My wife Greer is on staff at the church as Children’s and Young Families Pastor. Through this blog I hope to reflect on my journey in worship and as I learn more about the amazing overarching story of human history that has as its focal point Jesus Christ.
Why “A Time Is Coming And Has Now Come” as the blog name?This comes from a bible passage from John 4:23-24 which says:
“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is Spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.”
I believe that we are in an era in history when people globally are being called to worship God in spirit and truth – THE TIME HAS NOW COME!!
